Tatcha Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate Travel Size

Lately, I’ve been loving everything from Tatcha. I finished a bunch of their skincare products already and wrote about them in my first empties post here. Today I’m talking about the Tatcha Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate. It’s the ultra-concentrated form of their widely-loved Luminous Dewy Skin Mist and it comes with the cutest little gold spoon! Read more for my review.

What is is: I feel like everyone who has tried the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist has raved about how amazing it is. The Luminous Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate is a condensed version of that mist so it’s even more effective. Essentially, it’s a hydrating, gel-like treatment that restores and boosts skin’s natural radiance for a glow overnight.

How to use: The memory serum concentrate is ideal as an overnight recovery treatment to restore hydration and refine skin texture but also works in the daytime if your skin needs some extra dewiness. You scoop one to two spoonfuls of serum concentrate with the gold spoon and massage onto face, neck and chest in upward strokes. If you use it at night, you should wake up to dewy skin in the morning.

Ingredients: The formula was created by a Japanese chemist and includes Okinawa Red Algae and seven botanicals. According to Tatcha, the Okinawa Red Algae is rich in polysaccharides, which replenishes skin’s moisture reservoir and enhances the natural barrier function to deeply hydrate skin. The seven botanical extracts are squalane from olive fruit, green tea, wild thyme, ginseng root, licorice root, sweet marjoram and jujube fruit. Together, these extracts improve skin clarity, texture and tone.

Result: This product has a very unique memory gel type of formulation so it’s almost half serum and half gel. I’m obsessed with the texture! It reminds me of jelly. It’s non-greasy but surprisingly very moisturizing and melts into the skin. The full size of it is $110 so it is pretty expensive but you only need a tiny, tiny amount of the entire face. I’ve only been using this serum concentrate for a short period of time but have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin, more so than any other serum I’ve tried so far. Also, I am in love with the tiny gold spoon it comes with!!! Absolutely adorable. I wish all skincare products in a jar came with a tiny spoon.

You can get the travel size for $30 and the full size for $110 from their website. I am a die-hard Sephora loyalist but will buy Tatcha products directly from the Tatcha website because they offer free shipping with no minimum and give three samples with every order. Also, when I ordered, I used the Tatcha promo code WELCOMEGIFT and got a free travel sized Rice Enzyme Powder which is worth $15 (I’m not sure how long this promotion lasts for, but it’s worth a shot to try the promo code.) Such a great deal! Plus, the company really takes such great care in the packaging of your order. Tatcha is definitely becoming one of my favorite brands.

Is it ok with sensitive skin? May get a travel size for an upcoming trip & does this size also have a mini gold spoon?

Do you prefer this for overnight or the KLAIRS Midnight Blue Calming Cream? I’m looking to use one of the other as a night treatment! Thank you!
