I have been loving the most recent eyebrow trend lately, which has been full, fluffy “boy” brows. All of the runway looks this season have been amazing, with all the models having groomed yet messy fluffy eyebrows. Unfortunately, I’ve always had pretty thin hair and sparse eyebrows so getting full brows has always been something I’ve struggled with. Read more for some tips and tricks I’ve discovered on how to achieve full brows!

So the first step is to stop threading or waxing and to just let your brows grow out. Pluck only when necessary and very sparingly. I’ve been using these tweezers from Rubis because they are very precise and help me get only the hairs I want to pluck.
I’ve also been using a lash serum to grow my brows. The one I use is from ZO Skin Health and it’s a made up of a blend of peptides formulated to help enhance eyelash thickness and length, and improve the look of thinning, sparse lashes and brows. The reason why I like this one is that it doesn’t have extreme side effects like some of the others. I’ve always wanted to try Latisse but the fact that it sometimes permanently stains the skin or the eye color has turned me away from it. The Ossential Lash Serum also helps prevent future breakage by conditioning the hair and providing it with nutrients for optimal growth. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and will report back in a few more weeks on the results.
For makeup, I use Boy Brow Clear as a sort of primer or base for my eyebrows. I’ll first do a coat of Boy Brow Clear and then let it dry. Then, I’ll follow up with a coat of Boy Brow in Black. This combo makes the brows seem naturally fuller and fluffier. Then, I’ll use Benefit Watt’s Up under my brow bone for a subtle highlight.
Growing out your eyebrows to get fluffy brows is quite a process and it’s something I’m still going through myself. I just thought I would detail some of my tips on how to achieve full brows in case it might be helpful to anyone else trying to do the same thing!
