Almost a month ago, a bunch of the Glossier reps were treated to a trip to NYC to hang out with the Glossier team. I wrote about how cute the hotel we stayed at was in my Staycation Post but thought I would do a little diary series about how we spent the two days. Read more below!
I missed most of the events during the first day because I unfortunately had to take finals for my classes. I came straight from my finals (last finals of college!) to check into the hotel. Once I got to my hotel room, there was an envelope with my name on it. Inside was an itinerary with what we were doing for the two days.
I made it right in time for dinner with Emily Weiss and the Glossier community team at Two Hands. I keep forgetting about how good the food at Two Hands is, I need to come here more often! Dinner was so good. We also got a sneak preview of a new product that is launching over the summer. I can’t wait for it to be released!
The next day, we had breakfast with Emily Ferber, senior editor at Into The Gloss. It was quite interesting to hear about how she approaches beauty and to learn about the products that she loves.
Following breakfast, we headed over to Paintbox Nails to get manicures. Paintbox has been on my radar for quite some time so I’m really glad I finally had a chance to go! The entire place is so aesthetic, even the bathroom. So dreamy.
I chose the Crosby St. Hotel design, which was a marble pattern. It was my first time getting a gel manicure and I am obsessed with how it turned out. I love it.
To end these two eventful days, we had the best meal at Rubirosa. Everything that we ate was amazing. I definitely plan on coming back and having more of the mini rice balls and the pizzas! My favorite was the tie-dye pizza, would highly recommend.
(Hi Olivia!) The meatballs were also so good. I couldn’t stop eating them!! I’m dragging my friends here the next time we are in the area. Nolita is one of my favorite areas of New York.
It was so inspiring to spend two days with the incredible Glossier team and my fellow reps. I get social anxiety around strangers and was nervous at first but everyone was kind and genuine and all around amazing. I know I sound like a broken record, but I seriously want to thank anyone who has shopped through my rep link. I couldn’t have gotten these amazing opportunities without your support. I am grateful.
