New York City, NYC

To be honest, I haven’t been on Tumblr in ages but somehow ended up scrolling through my dashboard a few days ago. I stumbled upon a screenshot of a tweet that read: “remember when you wanted what you currently have.”
I guess that post really resonated with me because my friend Matt and I were just talking about the topic that same day – how we’re living the lives we used to dream about but always make bigger milestones to reach. Never satisfied or content and always wanting more…more…more.

I remember a few years ago when I used to see all these bloggers getting PR packages in the mail and would think, “wow, that is the dream!!” Crazy to think that the same thing is happening to me. I love testing out new products and sharing the best ones. It’s seriously one of my favorite things to do.

Back when I was an intern at Bloglovin’, I was (and still am) obsessed with all things Glossier. I ended up being a Glossier rep and getting all these opportunities that I never would have imagined. Not only the chance to work so closely with one of my favorite brands but also the chance to meet so many amazing people and be part of a such a lovely community.

I’m living in the city that never sleeps in an apartment I’m in love with. This is what I’ve always dreamed about! It’s so easy to forget and get caught up in day to day grievances. (BTW, apartment tour coming very soon. Unpacking, cleaning and organizing is taking way longer than I expected!)

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with looking forward and pushing ahead but sometimes it’s important to take a step back. Reflect and express gratitude to the universe. I’m very grateful for the life I live.

This post really resonated with me! I think it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of always looking to get the next goal, especially in nyc.

Been following you for a while, congrats on your accomplishments!
