I received the best surprise in the mail recently from Rakuten and Bloomingdale’s. Their bonus box is always filled with goodies, I wrote about last year’s here. Read more for first impressions on all the products inside!

1. PMD Beauty Microdermabrasion Device

Recently I’ve been getting more into skincare devices because I’ve noticed that they make a huge difference in skincare. I have the PMD Kiss Lip Plumper and I love it (blog post about this coming soon!) so I was super excited to receive this in the box. This gives you basically the same results as professional, in-office microdermabrasion treatments. I was pleasantly surprised by the easy to use instructions. I thought it would be super complicated and hard to understand how to use but it was very clear.

2. Sisley Paris Phyto-Eye Twist

This is an eyeshadow, pencil and eyeliner all in one. As an added plus, the formula contains plant based active ingredients like green tea, white lily and camellia which protect the delicate skin of the eyelids. I’m a big fan of the makeup with skincare benefits trend.

3. Kiehl’s Shampoo & Conditioner

My boyfriend has been really into this! He likes when he’s able to simplify steps so this two in one was perfect for him. Leaves the scalp clean and feeling fresh.

4. Kiehl’s Calendula + Aloe Soothing Mask

The texture of this mask is super jelly-like and fun. It’s made with hand-picked Calendula flower petals and aloe vera, giving the mask both soothing and hydrating properties. It’s very cooling to the touch so I feel like this would be amazing after a day in the sun.

5. Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C

Vitamin C has seriously been having a moment lately. It brightens, evens and re-texturizes skin. This one is quite interesting in usage. You leave the cap on but remove the foil and then press the inner bulb twice to release the Vitamin C powder into the smoothing emulsion. You can mix the drops into any moisturizer you choose to use.

6. Trish McEvoy Makeup Remover

This is the first product from Trish McEvoy that I’ve tried. It’s a one step cleansing water that removes all traces of makeup. My first impression is that it’s quite gentle and light on the skin and even works on eye makeup.

7. Wei Skincare Face Mask

I’ve been seeing more and more sheet masks being packaged in tube form, anyone else? This sheet mask flavors in a nutrient rich essence made from rice at the point of germination, when it is at its most potent and powerful. Other powerhouse ingredients include Chinese licorice and vitamin C which work to make the skin bright and glowing.

8. Guerlain Mon Guerlain Fragrance

One of my favorite perfumes is Idylle by Guerlain. It was a present from my mom! Mon Guerlain is the House’s new fragrance and it was inspired by the iconic Angelina Jolie.

  • Top notes: bergamot, carla lavender
  • Middle notes: paradisone, sambac jasmine, coumarin
  • Base notes: iris, vanilla tahitensis, album sandalwood

9. Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Fragrance

This is a new scent from Viktor & Rolf, reminiscent of a playful summer day full of pleasant surprises.

  • Top notes: grapefruit, tangerine, orange, blackcurrant
  • Middle notes: icing sugar, orange blossom, jasmin, peach
  • Base notes: musks, guaiac wood, cedarwood, caramel

You can shop all of these products on Bloomingdale’s website! Did any of these products catch your eye?
