September Goals, Flowers, Rose Flower Arrangement, Tammy Fender

Last month, I tried a new thing where I set monthly personal, wellness, business + blog goals. I did a couple month/season focused bucket lists in the past but wanted to have something more actionable in order to hold myself accountable.

To be honest, I haven’t been on Tumblr in ages but somehow ended up scrolling through my dashboard a few days ago. I stumbled upon a screenshot of a tweet that read: “remember when you wanted what you currently have.”
I guess that post really resonated with me because my friend Matt and I were just talking about the topic that same day – how we’re living the lives we used to dream about but always make bigger milestones to reach. Never satisfied or content and always wanting more…more…more.

Save the Elephants 10k Run

On November 21st, the day after my 20th birthday, my friend Mary and I ran our first 10k! It was the Saving the Elephants Run in Central Park that raised money for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. In high school, I did a season of cross country but the longest race I’ve run was the 5k. On impulse, 7 weeks before the race, we signed up to run.  View Post
