Last month, I tried a new thing where I set monthly personal, wellness, business + blog goals. I did a couple month/season focused bucket lists in the past but wanted to have something more actionable in order to hold myself accountable.

Yesterday, a few of my friends and I ran the UNFCU Foundation Outrace Poverty 5K on Roosevelt Island. Roosevelt Island is one of my favorite places to run in the city and I love that this run was for a good cause. Read more for details about the race! View Post
On November 21st, the day after my 20th birthday, my friend Mary and I ran our first 10k! It was the Saving the Elephants Run in Central Park that raised money for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. In high school, I did a season of cross country but the longest race I’ve run was the 5k. On impulse, 7 weeks before the race, we signed up to run. View Post
